Achillea filipenulina 'Cloth of Gold'

This beautiful, free-flowering, herbaceous perennial, produces wide flat yellow flower heads during the summer months. Dead-heading will prolong the flowering period. Blooming up to 5 feet above the aromatic fine-cut fern-like foliage, Cloth of Gold looks wonderful when grown in a mixed border or within prairie-like displays and meadows. It is also useful as a cut flower and can also be dried for everlasting displays. Plant in full sun, in any garden soil, and you will find that this perennial is easy to grow and is drought tolerant. It is also Deer resistant. Height up to 60”. Spread 12” to 28”. A great tall plant for a windy situation as it will never blow over and so does not need staking.
