Bred by Pat Stamile, Arctic Snow is one of the best white tetraploid daylilies. Good for the near front to mid-border position.
Although drought-tolerant, flowering performance would increase with a degree of moisture retention. So some organic matter mixed in with the garden soil at planting time would be beneficial.
The large 5.5" ivory-white flowers, which are set off by the pale-lemon thoat, flower in mid-season on 24" scapes. They are truely beautiful. Great for producing a calming effect in garden design.
