Hemerocallis Bonanza Hemerocallis 'Bonanza'

The scapes of Hemerocallis 'Bonanza' produce a high bud count.

This hemerocallis produces numerous buds on 24" inch between June and August. The golden-yellow flowers have a maroon throat and are delicately fragrant.

'Bonanza' is an extremely reliable and easy plant to grow, given full sun and a rich soil it will reward with a brilliant display year after year. Like Hemerocallis 'Stafford', 'Bonanza' looks particularly impressive when displayed as a grouping in the herbaceous border. Although the plant can grow tall, it would be beneficial to plant close to the border edge, so that the fragrance can be apprciated at close quarters.

Like other Hemerocallis that clump-up fairly quickly, 'Bonanza' needs to be divided in spring every two to three years, in order to maintain vigour and flowering performance.
