Hemerocallis 'Elegant Candy'

Elegant Candy has won many awards in the United States, and is therefore highly regarded by enthusiasts.

The heavily ruffled 4.5" pink flowers stand out because of the lovely red eyezone, which stands above the yellow-green throat. However its sweet scent is equally impressive, and can be fully appreciated by planting at the front of the border. The flowers stand 24" above the foliage, which is dorment in the winter months.

It is a early to mid-season bloomer, and will re-bloom later in the season. Although drought tolerant, Elegant Candy would bloom better given some moisture.
