Stella D'oro created a stir when it was introduced to the market. It was one of the first daylilies to produce continuous flowering over a long period of time. As a result of this it has become one of the most popular plants on the market. Provided the plant is dead-headed Stella D'oro will continue to flower profusely between June and September.
The fragrant, bright golden-yellow 2.5" flowers are displayed 12" above the dense clump forming grass-like foliage.
This very versatile plant is suitable for mass planting at the front of borders, in bedding schemes, and is a great subject for tubs and containers. Recommended.
